Redesigned from the ground up in 2022, the Maxxis Forekaster is engineered specifically for mid-travel (120–140 mm) trail bikes. Positioned between XC and gravity tread profiles, it delivers an ideal balance of low weight, speed, and reliable grip. Optimized for modern trail bikes and e-MTBs, the Forekaster performs exceptionally in conditions ranging from dry to soft and loose. E-rated for e-bike use, it offers dependable traction and control across varied terrain.
- MAXXIS FOREKASTER: Redesigned from the ground up in 2022, the Forekaster is tailor- made for mid-travel (120mm-140mm) trail bikes. Slotting in between our XC and gravity treads, the Forekaster is light, fast and grippy.
- 3C MAXXTERRA: An intermediate triple compound configuration used across our mountain tire line. The 3C MaxxTerra compound offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip, which makes it ideal for trail riding in all conditions.
- EXO+: Builds on our EXO technology with the addition of a small butyl insert around the bead. EXO+ is ideal for trail riding in moderately rocky and rooty terrain, and is also suitable for lighter weight e-bikes.
- E25: Tires with an E25 rating are suitable for light duty e-bikes with assistance up to a maximum of 16.1 MPH.
- WIDE TRAIL: Optimizes the tire’s tread layout and profile to match today’s modern, wider rims. Maxxis offers WT tires for everything from XC to gravity applications. A 30mm internal width rim is ideal for most applications, but WT tires can be used on rims ranging from 19mm to 35mm internal.
